Walk-in Cooler

Cold storage, locked door, short list of people with a key. That is the standard we try to hold your data to.

What is on the shelves

  • Sign-up details: your email, a scrambled version of your password, first name, birth date and gender, together with whatever you add to your apron.
  • Chat history, and the short notes each cook writes about you.
  • A cookie for the session, and another noting that you got through the gate.
  • Payment records, meaning an amount and a transfer reference. We take no cards, so none are stored.
  • Server logs, which are kept briefly for security reasons only.

Why we hold it

To keep conversations going, to apply the rules of the kitchen and to keep the site secure. A model we operate ourselves, or one run by a provider hired for that single task, handles your messages, and an automatic check reads them for safety. Nobody is paid for your chats, and advertisers never see them.

Visitor counting

We run a plain counter that tallies visits and regions. It has no access to what you write.

Taking things out

From any chat menu you can correct a cook's notes, copy the thread out or wipe it. For complete deletion of your account and all that is attached to it, write to the footer mailbox using your registered address. If your home law adds more rights, quote them to us and each will be honoured.
